Thank you for joining us to celebrate a momentous occasion in Mecca Center history, the Mecca MVMT Launch on December 8.
Hundreds of community members gathered to learn about the Mecca Center’s youth programs including Friday Night Live, Mecca Meet Up, and Recharge which aim to provide youth with a forum where they can socially, spiritually, and intellectually grow through recreational and educational service opportunities.
The Mecca Center’s Youth Director Sh. Tariq Musleh and the Youth Council are planning to introduce more programs soon including a service project initiative called MVMT Impact, MVMT Outings which will offer recreational opportunities, and MVMT Lite which focuses on spiritual development programs related to worship, remembrance, and knowledge.
The launch program included a social hour and meet and greet, the official Mecca MVMT launch presentation of programs by the Youth Council, an inspiring TED-style talk by Ustadh AbdelRahman Murphy, and entertainment by local talent including Nameless, Kareem Ibrahim, and Ayah Chehade.
