Join The Mecca Center for our first Parenting Circle! This group will help parents learn strategies for nurturing relationships with our children of all ages as well as provide support for parents. It will run on Sundays, 11am-12:30pm, October 23rd through December 18th.Â
Our parenting circle will be led by Dr. Rukhsana Iqbal and we will use the book, Positive Parenting in the Muslim Home by Noha Alshugairi and Munira Lekovic Ezzeldine as our foundation. Come be a part of a space of learning, support and growth. Purchasing a copy of the book is encouraged prior to the start of this series. We will discuss positive discipline tools during the Early Years, Middle Childhood, Teen Years as well as for Adult children.
The expectation of parents is that they are able to make it to a majority of sessions. We will have a cap on the number of parents attending.
Only one registration is required per family.
