Please join us for a night of tatreez with Badan Collective on September 27th, 2024 from 6PM – 9PM at The Mecca Center. Badan Collective will be leading us in an advanced class showcasing the traditional art of Palestinian embroidery.
ABOUT BADAN:
Badan is a creative design house and educational space that equips Palestinians of the diaspora with the access, tools, and knowledge necessary to practice the tradition of tatreez. With every stitch, we mobilize a collective movement, for ourselves and future generations.
To register, you must have some prior embroidery experience (ex. sewing on a button before).
