Assalamu Alaikum,

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of building our Islamic institutions through which we prepare our children to face ignorance, hate, and spread the great message of our faith of Islam by being examples of outstanding citizens spreading compassion, mercy , not only here in our country but throughout the world.  In the environment we live in today, when the Muslim community is constantly being attacked by Islamophobes  and unfair coverage by a biased and ignorant media this becomes an urgent goal.  Today we ask you to support the future of our next generation and complete the task of building the center that will nurture our children and help secure for them a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow – a future full of hope in which they will carry the light of Islam across our land, through their shining examples of kindness, manners and a successful professional life.

Insha’Allah, by completing the construction of this center we take one more step towards this goal. There is no greater reward than building the house of Allah SWT and enabling our community to secure the proper place for our children in this society as responsible citizens.   As Allah-fearing and civically engaged active participants in the affairs of their country and spreading of justice, our future generation to be get an everlasting reward, in this life and in the hereafter.

Alhamdulillah, the construction of our center is in progress.  All outside work has been completed including the majority of the parking lot , permeable pavers where installed as required by the building ordinance, all fire proofing, electrical, HAVC unite have all been installed, insulation and fire sprinklers, and fire proofing sprays have all been completed. Drywall installation is underway, we are attempting to complete the Masjid part before Ramadan with Allah SWT help and your help.    Additional funds are needed to continue construction beyond that point, our average monthly bill is about half a million dollars. I am hoping that you will help during our upcoming fundraising dinner March 6th.  Our goal to have a commitment of at least a million dollars in order for us to be able to complete this blessed project.

We have asked you many times in the past to donate your hard earned money and you have always responded positively, and now is no exception.  I know it is not easy, but this is the true jihad with your wealth, to pay when you are in need and from what is dear to you.

Insha’Allah, we will all be honored with contributing to the building of a house of Allah and hope that we all participate in this upcoming fundraising dinner Sunday March 6th at Drury Lane and renew our commitment.
