Join us for dinner and a lecture by Dr. Walid Khayr on Saturday, January 28 at 6:30 PM at the Mecca Center, 16W560 91st Street, Willowbrook, Illinois 60527. The topic will be “How we should study the biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

Dr. Walid Khayr was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He has a Doctor of Medicine degree from The American University in Beirut. In 1988 he moved to Chicago where he completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Khayr is currently a Professor of Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School. He is interested in the role and influence of religion on societies, active in interfaith dialogue, and has given multiple presentations on the Islamic experience and culture.
