(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ )

“O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn)”

The Mecca Center is following the Fiqh Council of North America’s determination of the first day of Ramadan 1441H and first day of Shawwal 1441H. The first day of Ramadan in which we will be fasting is on Friday, April 24, 2020 and the first night of Taraweeh prayer will be on Thursday, April 23, 2020. Eid ul-Fitr, the first day of Shawwal, is on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

May Allah SWT accept from us during this very special month of Ramadan. The Mecca Center wishes you and your families a very blessed and rewarding month, insha’Allah.
