(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ )

“O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn)”

The Mecca Center is following the Fiqh Council of North America’s determination of the first day of Ramadan 1442H.

The first day of Ramadan in which we will be fasting is on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 and the first night of Taraweeh prayer will be on Monday, April 12, 2021. (Please see Isha & Taraweeh Prayer Guidelines at meccacenter.org/ramadan. Registration is required.)

The first day of Shawwal, Eid-ul-Fitr, will be on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
