The Mecca Center recently held a Ladies Get Together in the banquet hall to provide an opportunity for women in the Mecca Center community to meet, engage, and grow friendships.

The event opened with a beautiful Quranic recitation followed by ice-breakers, a fitness activity, team-building games, and a brainstorming session about masjid programming.

The enjoyable afternoon saw new friendships develop over delicious snacks and good conversation. The event was organized by Lubna Farooq together with Sabina Rizvan, Sharmeen Mussani, Zuka Jabri, Luma Mahairi, Nasreen Amira, and Shereen Hussain.The Mecca Center plans to hold many more womens’ gatherings in the future and encourages women in the Mecca community to attend.
