Have your son and/or daughter join the Mecca Center scouts program! We will have an introductory event at Islamic Foundation School on Saturday December 18th, 2021. The scouts program will have regular events for character building, leadership, and outdoor adventure for their 6-12 y/o daughters and/or sons. Insha’Allah we will have a large pack activity in December and then pack or den activities starting in January 2022.

The activities will mainly be held around the Western Suburbs and The Mecca Center (Willowbrook), Muslim Association of Bolingbrook, AAMCO (Lake in the Hills), and IFS (Villa Park).

Registration for the year is $170 per Cub Scout ($160 for additional siblings) and $45 for adult leaders. These costs cover mandatory first time and annual fees that go to Scouts of America, Scout Handbook, and uniform patches/pins for skill advancement.

You do not have to pay the adult fee if you are just a participating adult, but we will need dads and moms to step up and serve as adult leaders in order for the program to be successful. You do not need to have specific experience/skills to be an adult leader – just willing to organize/schedule activities, so please volunteer!
